Hi! I’m Carl. I’ve often sought the reasons why I wasn’t finding the life I’ve been after. Between years of struggling and my time in education, I’ve come to realize that within conflict lays an opportunity for growth and dramatic change. Without a grain of sand to stimulate irritation, oysters do not create pearls. The same can be said of us. Conflict or struggle is our grain of sand. From the pressure of a challenging situation, through intention, purpose and focus, we learn how to advance beyond the struggle, creating a new pearl of victory for our lives.
In the process of navigating my life, I’ve discovered how I was continually sabotaging – undermining my success by the ideas I had been led to believe ever since I was a child. I now realize that we all suffer, in one or more areas of our lives, from this same dis-ease called self-sabotage. To initiate the cure, we need to seek out self-awareness and knowledge. Becoming aware of how I’d been programmed by the various influences I’d been exposed and how these were limiting my life has changed all areas of my life: physical, mental/emotional, spiritual and financial.
I’ve always been a passionate individual. I’ve held a deep passion for many, many years that has only been collecting dust until recently. This passion is a long dormant mission to serve others through coaching/consulting/leadership to uncover, rediscover, awaken the best in them. My mission is to leave the world a better place one person at a time.
My graduate studies were focused on leadership as a change agent. I spent nearly 20 years in public education as both a teacher and administrator. During my tenure I counseled many students and staff eliciting the best possible from each. Along the way I finely honed deep listening and questioning skills to guide an individual to go deeply within. It has been an honor and a humbling experience to share such special moments with each individual when they’ve discovered a higher plateau for their life.
